Kids & Teens
Dance Academy

Ballroom & Latin Dance for ages 5 to 16
NEW from 8th October ! Book a £1 trial

In the structured class programme of the Kids & Teens Dance Academy the following dances are being taught over time: the Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Quickstep, Viennese Waltz in Ballroom and the Cha Cha Cha, Rumba, Samba, Jive, Paso Doble in Latin. Most importantly children learn how to move while having fun. Each child’s ability and progress are being frequently assessed, and the class level and the focus are modified as needed. This results in progressive learning for the children. While the children gain correct Basic technique, great posture and poise, the teachers make sure it's fun, exciting and the children grow in their confidence, abilities and coordination.

Children take part in performances for the families and they have opportunitities to do medal tests assessed by the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) and to take part in dance competitions.
