Wedding lessons versus 1-1 dance lessons

​

Wedding lessons are much more than just 1-1 dance lessons. In 1-1 lessons usually everyone learns the same steps, no matter which song. The preparation of a Wedding dance on the other hand is a big project and needs to be well planned and well prepared to make sure, that you feel confident on your big day. With our experienced teachers you are in the best hands and can lean back and enjoy your dance lessons and have some time off your other Wedding preparations. The teachers give a lot of thought to your Wedding Dance, they put their heart into it and will help you with all the aspects of your Wedding Dance, with the set up on the day, the parent dances, the adaptation of your outfit, the choice of music and dance style. They spend time to choose which dance moves suit you and fit well with your music, and would even choreograph a unique dance for you. The professional knowledge to solve problems between two dancers through some of the million little tricks that we develop in our professinal life. That can help a lot to avoid problems or arising conflicts between the two of you. They would also edit your music to the appropriate tempo or length if needed, or point the out the information your band or DJ need. On your Wedding Day you will feel the difference. And they can prepare you for the dancing at your reception, if it is Waltzing, Jive-ing/Rock'n Rolling or Clubbing.

How many lessons do I need?

​

Our experience shows that five Wedding lessons give often enough time to learn a short routine or choreography, with a bit of practice at home, and to improve and smoothen out the edges under supervision of a teacher. A 7 or 10 lessons package gives you time to learn a more elaborated choreography or gives you more time to learn and practice. It is also possible to pick up some basics of another partner dance or some clubbing moves to prepare for your Wedding Reception.

How to secure your Wedding Lesson Package

Contact us to arrange a first lesson or book a 1-1 lesson. The teacher will contact you on the phone to get some first orientation before the lesson.

​

At your first lesson you'll have your consultation to create a plan, book your other lessons and pay your Wedding Package. The first lesson will be refunded or deducted.

​

Everyone learns at a different pace so it is impossible to tell you on the phone how many lessons exactly you will need. It depends on your abilities, what you want to achieve, on the song/dance you choose for your dance, how elaborated your dance routine or your dance steps are, how much you practice in between the lessons and whether you have any previous dance experience.

​

That's why during your first lesson you will have a consultation with your expert teacher about all of that and then you create a plan together. At the end of your first lesson you'll book immediately all the lessons that you'll need, to secure the time of your teacher and avoid disappointment. Make sure to bring your diaries. And you'll pay your Wedding Package immediately (in cash, per bank transfer, card or online booking on this page).
