Four Week Classes

"I want to focus on one dance."

As online course with coaching during Virus crisis!!! More details will follow soon.

Learn and improve one dance in our four week classes, consolidate your skills, learn new figures and practise them over weeks. No partner is needed, but you need to book in advance. Spaces are limited. Anyone can lead or follow, as they wish.

Come to the Wednesday Drop-In classes if you can't commit on a weekly basis or if you want to work on more dances, repeat them within a shorter interval and join the social dance session, practise, meet others and have fun.

You'll achieve a better progress if you combine the four week Monday classes with the Wednesday Drop-In classes, and the best progress if you combine your group classes with 1-to-1 lessons (for one or two people), where you'll have 100% professional attention.

Levels

Beginner level (Pre-Bronze) is suitable for absolute beginners and students in their first year of dancing. It's an ideal way to learn a few basic steps for an upcoming tea dance, ball, wedding or that romantic moment.

Improver level (Bronze) is suitable for students in their second year of dancing and who have completed the Beginner level or its equivalent in this particular dance. Ideal for those who wish to become more confident in social dancing and/or those who are thinking of pursuing ISTD medal exams to build on their technique.

Intermediate level (Silver) is appropriate for students from their third year of dancing and who have completed the Improver level or its equivalent in this particular dance. Ideal for those thinking of pursuing ISTD medal exams to build on their technique.

Advanced level (Gold and beyond) is appropriate for students from their fourth year of dancing and who have completed the Intermediate level or its equivalent in this particular dance.

A short show dance routine will be taught at this level with the goal to perform at one of our next parties, if you would like that. You must be familiar with the common Bronze and Silver figures to book this class.

Anybody can lead or follow

You don't need a partner as we change partners frequently as then you learn quicker. If you come with your partner and wish to stay together, just mention it to the teacher.

Our classes and social dance are open to all adults and have a friendly, safe and inclusive atmosphere.

Same-sex dancers are welcome, which means anyone can lead or follow as they wish. Therefore some women lead, some men follow, some dance both roles, whatever is needed, which increases the chance for even numbers of leading and following dancers. Sometimes, you might dance with someone of the same gender.
